A Singleton woman’s day of gardening spouted into the best day possible after scoring a $25,000 win. 

“I’m over the moon! I actually bought the Instant Scratch-Its tickets with my mum. We had just finished gardening and we were treating ourselves to a nice lunch,” she said. 

“We like to buy tickets every now and then. Mum was scanning one of hers that had won $10, and I had a couple of coins, so I bought three $2 tickets, and then that was that! 

“I’ll be putting it towards a house deposit. It’s always been a dream of mine to own my very own home. I’ll be the first in my family to do so, so it’s very important to me.”

Free ticket leads to $200,000 win

A Nerang man is counting his lucky stars after his free Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket led to a $200,000 prize! 

“The young lady at the counter told me I had won, and I said ‘What? Ten dollars?’. She said ‘No, you’ve won the first prize’. My eyes just went wide, and I went ‘You’re joking! How much is that?’,” the winning man told us.

“Funnily enough I actually got the win from a free ticket.

“I’ll be able to pay off the mortgage and buy my wife a new car. I might get one for myself too!”

Petrie woman wakes up on cloud nine

A Petrie woman who had always dreamt of visiting The Lott headquarters had her wish come true after she won $200,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket. 

“It’s unbelievable. We’re still in shock!” she exclaimed.

“When I was initially scratching the ticket, I wasn’t counting how many words I had. When I was almost done, I was thinking to myself ‘Oh my god. This is going to be big.’ The most I’ve won is $100, which I was pretty excited about but $200,000! That’s amazing.

“Thank you so much. We’re going to put some money towards the mortgage, then maybe keep a little for ourselves.”

Unbelievable $1 million Monday & Wednesday Lotto win

Among the delights of Lucky Lotteries and Instant Scratch-Its there was still time for a millionaire or two, including a Glenthorne couple who were left light-headed after their $1 million Monday & Wednesday Lotto win. 

“You’re kidding me! I think I’m going to faint. That’s unreal! Just unreal!” the husband said. 

“This is unbelievable. We usually only win about $13. Thank you so much. We’ll be able to pay off the mortgage.

“We always hoped to win one day but of course, we had our doubts. I’m still shaking.”
