Berwick man celebrates TattsLotto win with long-overdue nap

A Berwick man was one of the seven division one winners nationally on the weekend who was surprised and delighted by a $700,000 Saturday Lotto win.  The victorious Victorian discovered his prize late Saturday evening and was left tossing and turning all night.

“It was a bit of a shock. I did have a glass of whisky to calm the nerves. I think I only got about two hours sleep last night,” he said.

“I’m hoping to get a nap later today.

“I don’t know exactly what I’ll do with the prize, but I haven’t been on holiday for a while so perhaps I can take a holiday before making any plans.”

Whitsundays wanderer wins whopping $700,000

Further north, a Whitsundays traveller was passing by Bowen on his way to a family holiday when he decided to purchase his Saturday Lotto entry. Little did he know that decision would boost his holiday and help him pay off the mortgage!

“Holy s***! That’s amazing!” he cheered.

“I don’t think I’ll really tell anyone except for my wife.

“It will help pay off the house which is really exciting. We will definitely continue the holiday, that’s for sure!”

Carina Heights woman credits win to beloved late cat

The Lotto wins continued for a Carina Heights woman who had no idea she’d scored a $700,000 prize until we called to break the news. While she grappled with the shock, she had a strong feeling the win was thanks to her recently passed furry companion.

“Holy sh**!” the woman exclaimed.

“Thank you so much! This is life-changing! I lost my cat recently. This must be her passing this on to me.

“We might be able to get our first house now!”

Alexandra Headland woman turns up the heat thanks to $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win

An Alexandra Headland woman also received a huge shock when she came forward to claim her Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize of $100,000. She’s now happily cooking up some renovation plans with her tasty win.

“I’m very glad it is real! Wow. I’m just in total shock,” she laughed.

“Funnily enough, I was just telling my husband yesterday we need a new stove!

“I’ve been cooking on this mini Kmart one for almost five years and we’ve always spoken about getting a new one. Now we can do more than just that! We can renovate the whole kitchen!”
