We know fans of Powerball like to play by their own rules, but our latest division one winners are really proving they have a healthy rebellious streak!

One winner is yet to accept she’s won, while we’re still eagerly trying to get the other winner to answer their phone.

Get the rundown on last night’s Powerball draw, plus more winning highlights from the week!

Two New South Wales entries share $80 million Powerball jackpot

While both of last night’s winning entries were registered to a player card, we could only make contact with one of the winners directly after the draw — a disbelieving Campbelltown retiree who purchased their entry from Leppington Newsagency.

“I don’t believe it!” she declared.

“No! No! Wow! I can’t believe it.

“I’ve been playing for a long time. But you never think this is going to happen to you.”

Despite our best attempts to reach our second division one winner, they may not have yet discovered their winning news!

If you purchased a registered entry from Dublin Street Newsagency, Smithfield, we encourage you to check your ticket! We promise it could be worth it!

Shoalhaven man breaks million-dollar news to his family

A Shoalhaven man had the great pleasure of telling his family that the syndicate they’ve been playing for 15 years won them division one in this week’s Wednesday Lotto draw.

“I called the rest of my family straight away to tell them the news,” the winning man explained.

“They didn’t say a lot because they couldn’t speak. They were dumbfounded!”

With $1 million about to be shared between the family of five, the Shoalhaven retiree said it would help them all get ahead.

Maclean couple finally claim their $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win eight months after the draw

In more winning news, we were thrilled to finally unite a Maclean couple with their $100,000 prize this week after their winning ticket had been sitting in a safe since last August.

“We’ve actually known we won this prize the entire time,” the winning man laughed.

“We checked it straight after the draw and we couldn’t believe it! I remember thinking ‘oh yeah, baby!’.

“For us, it’s like a million dollars, so we wanted to be sensible with our prize and make sure we used it wisely.”

Wollongong woman’s favourite numbers win her a Lotto division one prize 23 years on

While our Maclean couple waited to claim their prize, a Wollongong woman was wasting no time in celebrating becoming an overnight Lotto millionaire.

“For 23 years, I’ve used the same numbers. I’ve still got the original ticket that I first marked all those years ago,” she explained.

“I’m so happy. I’m trying to be cool about it but it’s very hard!”

Will a win be headed your way soon? We hope to find out!
