A Liverpool dad says he can’t quite put into words how he feels knowing he’s suddenly set for life after winning a division one prize worth $4.8 million in Monday night’s draw.

The Western Sydney player was one of the three division one winners across the country in Set for Life draw 1908, drawn Monday 26 October 2020, each taking home a division one prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years.

Confirming his win with us moments after he checked his ticket this afternoon, the man initially struggled to put a sentence together.

“I don’t need to work anymore,” he laughed eventually.

“I can’t say how I feel. I can’t put it into words.

“This is incredible. I never thought this would be possible!

“I’ve been marking my entries for a long time and I only changed my numbers two weeks ago.

“I can’t believe it. I can’t believe they’ve already been drawn!

“This is massive. I’m shaking. I’m lost for words.”

When asked what he thought he might do with $4.8 million over the next 20 years, the dad said he’d start with paying off his house.

“Well this will definitely pay off my mortgage,” he said.

“We have a big family so I will certainly be able to look after the kids and set them up for the future.

“I probably will keep working for now, I like my job.

“And when we can travel abroad again we will definitely be doing some family holidays.”
