Love is in the air at Set for Life HQ and we’re reminiscing on our lovebirds that broke Set for Life records by winning Set for Life not once, but twice!

A Langwarrin woman deliberately bought two entries marked with the same ‘special’ numbers on a Set for Life entry – one each for her and her husband – to celebrate their wedding anniversary in 2018.

It was a truly special moment when we delivered the exhilarating news that both tickets had scored division one and her and her husband could look forward to receiving $40,000 a month for the next 20 years. 

“That is just unbelievable. You’re really serious? Is this a joke? It was our wedding anniversary and I thought I’d just buy our special numbers on our Set for Life tickets, and we’ll give it a go,” she said.

“I’ll have to take a moment, but I just can’t believe it. It’s a fantastic wedding anniversary. 

“We don’t really do much for our wedding anniversary these days, so I thought why not buy some Set for Life tickets and that could be our present.

“We use marked numbers that include the dates of our wedding anniversary and kid’s birthdays – special dates that’s what they are.”

More recently, two new division one wins have made our heart skip a beat! 

A Melton West woman struggling to sleep had checked her Set for Life entry in the middle of the night and was left lost for words from the revelation of her division one win.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw I’d won division one. It was crazy! I woke up my partner straight away and told him. He didn’t believe me. He was very unsure about the whole thing,” she laughed.

Meanwhile, our Set for Life crew are stepping into the role of cupid and are looking to unite a mystery Geelong lottery player with their division one win in Set for Life draw 2379, drawn Wednesday 9 February 2022.
