A Leura man admitted he’s writing a long list of all the fun things he’s going to do once he’s no longer in self-isolation, after winning the Set for Life division two prize on Sunday night.

The New South Wales player scored the division two prize of $5,000 a month for one year in Set for Life draw 1697, drawn Sunday 29 March 2020.

The Sydney man is the second Set for Life division two winner since the launch of the new game changes on Monday 23 March 2020.

This morning we spoke to the winner, who expressed the news came as a welcomed surprise.

“You are certainly the bearer of good news, aren’t you?” he laughed.

“What a lovely surprise!

“Gosh I am delighted. This has really gotten me out of bed!”

The stoked bloke admitted while celebrations were limited in self-isolation, he was sure to enjoy the next 12 months thanks to the monthly $5,000 prize.

“There really isn’t much to do at the moment, but I am sure I can find something fun to do around the home,” he admitted.

“While I can’t leave the house, I do live in a lovely area, so I will sit outside, have a cup of coffee and enjoy the view this morning.

“I will save my prize until I can actually do something. Of course, I will share some with my family.

“But when we can finally go out again, that’s when the fun can begin!

“I will go out for a really fancy dinner and have some lovely red wine.

“You can certainly count on me to have fun with my prize, don’t worry about that!”
